Global Technology Laboratory
Our company, established in 1995 as part of the Atak Group of Companies to provide foreign trade, logistics, and international investment planning and consulting services, underwent restructuring in 2010. It expanded its scope of activities by adding certification services such as System Certification, Product Certification, and International Inspection and Testing Services to its portfolio.
GCN TURK holds international accreditations and authorizations both for itself and its partners.
It provides services to its customers in accordance with the principles of reliability, objectivity, impartiality, and confidentiality. With its network, GCN TURK can carry out all its activities by providing uninterrupted service to its customers in many parts of the world. GCN TURK primarily provides certification, testing, and inspection services, as well as technology and R&D services in many sectors, including metal and machinery, metallurgy, energy, textiles, and chemicals. GCN TURK has been designated as an Approved Body by the European Union under the 2014/33/EU elevator regulation with the number NB2729.
OUR QUALITY POLICY
Our laboratory adopts the following as the fundamental principles of its quality policy:
- To provide reliable and valid testing/experiment services in accordance with TS EN ISO/IEC 17025, with technically competent personnel and in line with relevant standards, directives, and sectoral requirements,
- To ensure that our personnel receive the necessary training in accordance with relevant standards, directives, and sector-specific guidance documents (e.g. ASD-STAN 9250) in order to perform the tests/experiments within our scope effectively and accurately,
- To ensure that only competent, authorized personnel whose continuous development is supported take part in testing/experiment processes,
- To provide timely and error-free services in compliance with customer requirements, approved methods, and technical justifications,
- To keep customer information confidential, to exercise utmost care in the protection of intellectual and registered rights, and to establish and implement systems in accordance with these principles,
- To observe impartiality in the execution of duties, without being influenced by any conflict of interest or by commercial, financial, or other external pressures,
- To avoid any activity that could undermine confidence in the laboratory’s competence, impartiality, or decision-making processes, and to establish systems to control such risks,
- To base testing/experiment activities carried out in safety-critical sectors, particularly in the aerospace and aviation sector, on compliance with the expectations of ASD-STAN 9250, including traceability, product safety, data integrity, and counterfeit/part control,
- To work in a professional, error-free, efficient, and solution-oriented manner,
- To provide a quality working environment that ensures customer and employee satisfaction,
- To ensure that all laboratory personnel learn the quality system documentation and apply the quality policy and procedures in their work by fully internalizing them,
- As top management, to comply with TS EN ISO/IEC 17025, ASD-STAN 9250, and relevant legal regulations, and to commit to the continual improvement and development of the effectiveness of our quality management system.
