• EEBD (Emergency Escape Breathing Devices): Leak and airflow checks on devices that ensure safe evacuation in the event of a fire or toxic gas leak.
• SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus): Pressure and durability checks on breathing sets used in long-term interventions.

Personal Protection and Life-Saving Equipment
Essential equipment that ensures personnel survival in the event of falling overboard or abandoning ship is tested with GTL expertise:

• Life Jackets and Thermal Jackets: Analysis of buoyancy capacity and measurement of performance in maintaining body heat (prevention of hypothermia) in extremely low temperatures.
• Life Jacket Position Indicator Lights: Battery life and water resistance tests for lighting systems that enable the location of the casualty to be determined in the dark or at low visibility.
• Lifelines and Real Hook Systems: Verification of mechanical durability, load-bearing capacity, and resistance to sudden shock.

Detection and Communication Systems
The success of rescue operations depends on the rapid detection of the casualty or vehicle. The adaptability of these systems to environmental conditions is of great importance:

• Radar and Sonar Systems: Electromagnetic compatibility and signal sensitivity tests for accurate detection of objects on and below the sea surface.
